Weer een Halloweenkaartje: Man, wat een maan! Ik moest gewoon iets met een van de vogels van de Monster Bash Enamel Shapes.	Another Halloween Card: Man, What a Moon! I just had to use one of the birds from the Monster Bash Enamel Shapes.

Verhuiskaart / New Home Card

Ik ken nogal wat jonge mensen die ofwel verhuizen of op kamers gaan. Ik heb dan ook regelmatig een kaartje nodig om ze veel geluk te wensen in hun nieuwe woning. En wat is er nu leuker dan een zelfgemaakt kaartje?	I know quite a number of young people who are either moving house or leaving home to study. So I often need a card from to wish them joy and happiness in their new home. And what could be nicer than a handmade card?
Met de stempelset From Our Home to Yours kun je ontzettend leuke kerstkaarten maken, maar ook een kaartje voor een nieuwe woning. Ik vind de naïeve uitstraling van de huisjes erg leuk. Met de tekst uit de stempelset Delightful Day is de kaart compleet.	The stamp set From Our Home to Yours makes really cute Christmas cards, but a card on the occasion of a new home too. I really like the naïve look of the houses. To complete the card, I have used a sentiment from the stamp set Delightful Day.

Iemand vleermuismelk? / Bat Milk, Anyone?

Ik denk dat ik een nieuw zuivelproduct uitgevonden heb: Vleermuismelk. ( Ik heb het gegoogeld en een vleermuis is nog echt een zoogdier ook!) Als je je thee met melk drinkt, net als ik, is dit het ultieme ding voor Halloween?	I think I have invented a new dairy product: Bat Milk. (I've Googled it and bats are actually mammals. Well, what do you know?) If you drink your tea with milk, as I do, is this perfect for Halloween?
In eerste instantie wild ik de grafsteentjes van de Monster Bash Enamel Shapes gebruiken als versiering van dit melkpak(je). Maar, eentje zag er vreemd uit en om er nu vier op een melkpak te plakken was nu ook weer niet praktisch voor iets dat ik gewoon weggeef. Ja, ik weet het. Ons benne zûûnig. Dus uiteindelijk heb ik zelf maar grafsteentjes ontworpen en gemaakt.	Initially, I wanted to use the gravestones in the Monster Bash Enamel Shapes to decorate this milk carton. However, one did not look right and four per carton would make it impossible to have the carton as a Trick or Treat give-away. I know, I'm frugal that way. So I ended up designing and making my own mini-gravestones.

Je kunt uit een vel Very Vanilla Thick papier twee melkpakjes maken. De plakflap is ietsje smaller, maar het werkt. Je snijd het papier 14,8 x 15,2 cm. Ik snijd er eerst in de lengte 5,7 cm af en dan snijd ik de rest over de helft op 14,8.	From one sheet of Very Vanilla Thick cardstock you can get two cartons. The glue flap is narrower, but it works. You cut your paper 5⅞" x 6". I cut off a strip of 2¼" lengthwise first and then I cut the rest in half at 5⅞".
Met de 14,8 zijde boven, ril op 3,5 / 7,0 / 10,5 / 14,0 cm. Kwartslag draai (de smalle strook ligt rechts) ril op 3,5 / 11,1, keer het papier om en ril op 14,0 cm.	With the 5⅞" side top, score at 1⅜" / 2¾" / 4⅛" / 5½". Quarter turn  and (with the narrow strip on the right) score at 1⅜" / 4⅜", flip the paper and score at 5½".

Leg het papier weer met de 14,8 zijde en het smalle deel boven. Je hebt nog twee korte rillijnen nodig tot aan de eerste rillijn. In centimeters zijn ze makkelijker te zetten dan in inches. Zet de rillijnen op 5,2 en 10,6 cm. Van daaruit kun je de schuine rillijnen maken.

Put the paper back with the 5⅞" side and the narrow part at the top. You need two short score lines from the top as far as the first score line. These are awkward measurements, you need a score line at 2-1/16" and at 4-3/16". These dimensions are not on your Simply Scored, but I have devised an easy way around this: on your Simply Scored, slide the paper a fraction (1-16") to the right and put your score lines at 2⅛" and 4⅞". From there on you can make the diagonal score lines.

Arachnaphobic's Nightmare

Een kaartje gemaakt door iemand die spinnen haat. Ik loop liever een straatje om dan dat ik met een spin te maken heb. Ik stuur het lekker naar iemand die net zoveel blijde gedachten krijgt van spinnen als ikzelf. Halloween is nu eenmaal huiveren.	This is a card made by someone who absolutely hates spiders. I'd rather cross the street than deal with a spider. I'm sending to somebody who gets as many happy thoughts from spiders as I do. Halloween is all about creeping out, isn't it?
Ik heb Gray Granite gesneden 21 x 10,5 cm en het na het stempelen enz. gerild op 10,5 cm.	I have cut some Gray Granite 8¼" x 4⅛" and  scored it after stamping etc. at 4⅛".

De letters Boo van Hand-lettered Prose zijn gestanst uit Silver Foil en op een stukje Very Vanilla van 5,7 x 5,7 cm geplakt. Ik heb het stukje van reliëf voorzien met de Pinewood Planks 3D embossing folder.	De letters Boo from Hand-lettered Prose have die cut from some Silver Foil and adhered to a 2¼" x 2¼" piece of Very Vanilla. I have embossed the piece of paper with the Pinewood Planks 3D embossing folder.
De spinnetjes zijn gestanst uit Basic Black cardstock, ze komen uit Wicked, de snijmallen.	The spiders have been die cut in Basic Black form the Wicked dies.

De stempels zijn allemaal van Wonderfully Wicked. De spinnenwebben zijn gestempeld in Gray Granite, de andere in Early Espresso.	The stamps are from Wonderfully Wicked. The spider webs have been stamped in Gray Granite, all other stamps in Early Espresso.
Ik heb met Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint en een Sponge Dauber de randjes van de kaart bewerkt.	I have used Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint and a Sponge Dauber to ink the edges of the card.

Met de Spooktacular Bash stempelset en de Ornate Frames maak je zo iets om hun honger te stillen. Wat mummiewikkels eromheen en ze zullen dol zijn op dit doosje! Kat, Vleermuis en Spin / Cat, Bat & Spider Card

Het tweede project in mijn Halloweenreeks is een kaart. Ik heb diverse stempelsets gebruikt om in een keer de achtergrond te stempelen. Kijk maar eens in het filmpje.	The second project in my Halloween Series is a card. I have used various stamp sets to stamp the background in one go. Just have a look at the tutorial.
Ik heb kleuren gebruikt die misschien niet zo voor de hand liggen;  ik vind dat ik daar wel in geslaagd ben.	I have chosen colours that are not the most obvious for Halloween, but I think they work well together.

Stempelsets: Wonderfully Wicked, Spooktacular Bash en to Every Season, daar zitten die lieve vleermuisjes in.	Stamp sets: Wonderfully Wicked, Spooktacular Bash and to Every Season, which has those cute little bats.
Ornate Frames voor de versieringen. De kat, vleermuis en spin zijn gestempeld met Versamark en daarna Early Espresso, en met Clear Embossing Powder en de heat tool bewerkt.	Ornate Frames for the embellishments. The cat, bat and the spider have been stamped in Versamark and then Early Espresso and heat embossed with Clear Embossing Powder and the heat tool.
De randjes heb ik gesponst in Sahara Sand.	The edges have been sponged in Sahara Sand.

Tips & Tricks Stampin' Up! Punches

In dit filmpje laat ik je zien hoe je met de ponsen van Stampin' Up! de leukste labeltjes kunt maken.	In this tutorial I'm showing you how you can make the cutest labels with the Stampin' Up! punches.

Het basisformaat is een vel A4 in de lengte gehalveerd (10,5 x 29,7 cm). Daar snijd ik stukjes van 5 cm vanaf, die ik verder bewerk en versier tot labeltjes.

The basic size is a sheet of A4 cut in half lenghthwise (4⅛" x 11-11/16). This I cut into 2" strips, to be decorated and turned into labels.
