Tea For One

Hey, hey!
Heerlijk genieten van een kopje thee met iets lekkers erbij. Echt Tea For One dus. En als je liever Tea For Two (of nog meer personen) doet, stuur je gewoon deze kaart om iemand uit te nodigen.	Bliss! Having afternoon tea. You can do it on your own too; truly Tea For One in that case. But if you'd rather have Tea For Two (or more) all you need do is send off this card to invite them over.

Tea Time Framelits, Tea Together stempelset. Call Me Cupcake Framelits, Hello Cupcake stempelset en een bloemenstempeltje van Wonderful Romance.	Tea Time Framelits ,Tea Together stamp set. Call Me Cupcake Framelits, Hello Cupcake stamp set and flower stamp from Wonderful Romance.

Basiskaart: een stuk Whisper White van 15,2 x 11,4 cm, met korte zijde boven gerild op 5,7 cm. De voorkant is een stuk Thick Whisper White van 15,2 x 11,4 cm Zet met de lange zijde boven vanuit rechts op 1,2 cm een hulplijntje met potlood. Met de korte zijde boven teken je van links naar rechts een hulplijntje op 5,7 cm. De basis van de etagère is gestanst uit een restje Lemon Lime Twist papier, het hartje bij de cup cake van een restje Lovely Lipstick Foil Paper.

The base card is a 6" x 4½ piece of Whisper White, with the short side top scored at 2¼". The card front is a 6" x 4½ piece of Thick Whisper White. With the long side top, draw a thin pencil line at ½" from the right. With the short side top, draw a thin pencil line at 2¼" from left to right. The cake stand base has been die cut from a scrap of Lemon Lime Twist card stock, the heart with the cupcake from a scrap of Lovely Lipstick Foil Paper.

Tea Together

Hey, hey!
Deze kaart vind ik zó mooi! Mag je dat zeggen van iets dat je zelf gemaakt hebt? Ja, hoor. De Tea Together stempels uit de Lente-Zomercatalogus zijn zo mooi, je kunt er de bijpassende  Tea Time Framelits met Sale-a-Bration bij verdienen. En ze gaan langer mee dan alleen het voorjaar!	This card I love. Can you say that about something you've made yourself? Yes, you can. The Tea Together stamp set in the Spring Summer Catalogue is gorgeous, you can earn the matching Tea Time Framelits in Sale-a-Bration too. And they will carry over into the annual catalogue!

Ik wilde iets ontwerpen waarbij ik meer technieken kon gebruiken dus, hou je vast: stempelen / in reliëf zetten / met de hand inkleuren met Blends en Watercolor Pencils / stansen / een lintje erop

I set out to design a card that would involve various techniques, so here goes: stamping / embossing / hand-colouring with Blends and Watercolor Pencils / die-cutting / attaching a ribbon

Blauwwit gestreept serviesgoed is een klassieker, ik heb een manier bedacht om de strepen mooi op de theepot te krijgen. Kijk maar eens naar het filmpje.	Blue-white pottery is a classic, I have devised a method to get beautifully crisp and evenly-spaced lines on the teapot. Just have a look at the tutorial.
Ik heb aparte filmpjes over deze kaart gedraaid. Aan een kaart als deze werk je wel even - iets dat ik heerlijk vind overigens - en dat zou betekenen dat het een behoorlijk lang filmpje zou worden. Ik heb het zo eens geprobeerd.	For this card I have filmed separate tutorials. A card like this keeps you busy for a while - not something that I mind at all by the way - and this would result in a rather long video. So I have tried it this way.
Het recept voor de kaart:	The card recipe:
-       Thick Whisper Whitebasiskaart, een vel A4 in de lengte gesneden op 10,50 en gerild op 14,85 cm -       Whisper White card stock mat, bestempeld met Buffalo Check in Calypso Coral - ik ben begonnen met een stuk papier dat groter is dan de voorkant van de kaart, ik heb het in de juiste maat gesneden alvorens het op de basiskaart te plakken -       Whisper White card stock mat 10,50 x 12,5 cm, bestempeld met theepot van Tea Together in Night of Navy, gekleurd met Night of Navy dark & light Blends -       de theepot is in reliëf gezet met de bijpassende framelit uit Tea Time en gestanst met de op een na grootste Rectangle Stitched framelit -       de roosjes zijn gestempeld op restjes Whisper White in So Saffron (1x afgestempeld), gekleurd met de Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight en Garden Green Watercolor Pencils en de Blender Pen, gestanst met de bijpassende framelits uit Tea Time -       stukje lint Calypso Coral Satin Ribbon van ongeveer 23,0 cm	-       Thick Whisper White base card, an A4 sheet of card stock,  cut lengthwise at 4¼"  and scored at 5⅞" -       Whisper White card stock mat, stamped in Buffalo Check in Calypso Coral - I started out with a piece of paper that was larger than the card front, I have cut it down to the right size later before adhering it to the base card. -       Whisper White card stock mat 4¼" x 5", stamped with the teapot from Tea Together in Night of Navy, coloured with Night of Navy dark & light Blends -       the teapot has been embossed with the matching framelit from Tea Time and die-cut using the second largest Rectangle Stitched framelit -       the roses have been stamped on Whisper White scraps in So Saffron (stamped off once), coloured with the Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight and Garden Green Watercolor Pencils and the Blender Pen, die-cut with the matching framelits from Tea Time -       an approximately 9" piece of  Calypso Coral Satin Ribbon
