Deze keer een tasje voor een Halloweentraktatie, met een stevige bodem van kaartkarton. Door de bodem blijft het tasje in model en blijft het goed staan. Het heeft een instopsluiting zodat je het niet stuk hoeft te maken om het te openen. De afmetingen zijn 7,6 x 2,5 x 10,1 cm	Today a bag for a Halloween treat, with a sturdy bottom made of cardstock. This bottom keeps the bag in good shape and it also keeps it upright well. It has a tuck-in closure so you don't have to tear it to open it. The measurements are 3" x 1" x 4"

Sluiting	Closure
Gemaakt met de op een na kleinste van de ronde Frisse Figuren-stansen. De hoekjes zijn gemaakt met de Drie Toppers-pons	Made with the second smallest of the circular Stylish Shapes Dies. The corners are made with the Very Best Trio Punch.

Design a Treat Box for an eyeball - Doosjesdesignstansen voor een oogbol

Bij de Hema hadden ze deze akelige oogbollen waarvoor ik een leuke verpakking heb gemaakt met de Doosjesdesignstansen. Ik wilde ze zo maken dat je het doosje niet stuk hoeft te maken om de oogbol eruit te halen.	At Hema ( a Dutch store) they had these icky eyeballs for which I made a nice packaging with the Design a Treat Box Dies. I wanted to make them so that you don't have to destroy the box to take out the eyeball.
In het filmpje kun je verschillende manieren zien waarop je het Designpapier en kaartkarton kunt inzetten om een doosje te maken. Ik geef hieronder de maten per type doosje weer.	In the video you can see different ways in which you can use the Designer Series Paper and cardstock  paper to make a box. Below I show the sizes per type of box.

 

Doosje uit een stuk	One-piece box
Wanneer er geen patroon is waar je rekening mee moet houden, kun je het doosje uit een stuk stansen. Je papier is dan 12,7 x 12,7 cm groot.	If there is no pattern to take into account, you can die cut the box from one piece. Your paper will then be 5" x 5" in size.

 

 

Tweekleuring doosje	Two-coloured box
Het papier voor het stuk met de sleuven (het lange, slanke stuk) meet 3,8 x 16,50 cm. Het papier voor het andere stuk (met de flappen) meet 5,7 x 14,6 cm.	The paper for the slotted piece (the long, slender piece) measures 1½" x 6½". The paper for the other piece (with the flaps) measures 2¼" x 5¾".
Met dit model kun je restjes papier opwerken!	With this model you can use up paper scraps!

 

Doosje met vleermuis en oogbol	Bat and eyeball box
Hier doet het patroon er toe, dus ik heb het niet uit twee, maar uit vier stukjes Designpapier gemaakt om ervoor te zorgen dat het patroon niet ondersteboven zit.	Here the pattern matters, so I haven't used two, but four pieces of Designer Series Paper to make sure the pattern doesn't end upside down.
Voor het stuk met de sleuven heb je twee maal een stukje Designpapier nodig van  3,8 x 10,2 cm.	For the piece with the slots you will need two pieces of Designer Series Paper measuring 1½" x 4"
Voor het stuk met flappen heb je twee maal een stukje Designpapier nodig van 5,7 x 8,9 cm.	For the piece with flaps you will need two pieces of Designer Series Paper measuring 2¼" x 3½".

 

 

De sluiting	The closure
De vleermuis past net over de bovenkant en als je hem er los op zet, zou hij misschien wel blijven zitten. Voor de zekerheid wilde ik hem wel vast hebben zitten, maar dan zonder dat je het doosje kapot moet maken om het te openen. Na lang denken en proberen heb ik deze oplossing verzonnen.	The bat fits just over the top and if you put it on loose it might just stay put. Just to be sure, I wanted it to be stuck, but without having to ruin the box to open it. After much thinking and trying out various things I have come up with this solution.
Voor de vleermuis heb je een stukje Basic Black nodig van minimaal 3,8 x 8,9 cm.	For the bat you need a piece of Basic Black of at least 1½" x 3½".
Voor de bevestiging van de vleermuis, neem een strook Basic Black kaartkarton van 2,2 cm breed, leg hem met de lange zijde boven in de Papiersnijmachine, ril op 0,6 cm en snijd af op 1,6 cm. Dit stukje is het voetje waar je de vleermuis mee kunt bevestigen.	To attach the bat, take a ⅞" wide strip of Basic Black cardstock, place it with the long side top in the Paper Trimmer, score at ¼" and cut at ⅝". This piece is the stand with which you can attach the bat.

Chocolate Coin Pocket / Zakje voor chocolade munt

Voor deze leuke chocolade munten van de Hema heb ik dit zakje ontworpen. Ook andere chocolade munten passen erin.	I designed this bag for these fun chocolate coins from Hema ( a Dutch store). Other chocolate coins would fit in there as well.
Het bestaat uit twee delen, dat heb ik zo gedaan omdat ik wilde dat beide helften precies op elkaar zouden passen. Je moet er wel eventjes wat hulplijntjes voor tekenen, maar dan ziet het er ook mooi uit. Voor de soepelheid van de raampjes heb ik een van de Cellofaanzakjes gebruikt. Met stukjes Transparant Vel zou het te stijf worden.	It consists of two parts, that's because I wanted both halves to fit exactly together. You have to draw some auxiliary lines for it, but then it looks nice. For the flexibility of the windows I have used one of the Cellophane Bags. Pieces of Window Sheet would make it too stiff.
Ik heb stukjes Zelfklevende Vellen gebruikt om ervoor te zorgen dat de kwetsbare takjes niet beschadigd raken.	I have used some pieces of Adhesive Sheets to make sure the delicate branches don't get damaged.
