Deze Fun Foldkaart
heb ik gezien van Alexandra Grape, ik heb er maten bij gemaakt voor het
internationale A4 - in centimeters - en het Amerikaanse A4 in inches. Als je de
kaart in inches wilt maken en je werkt met het internationale A4, zou ik het
papier eerst snijden op het Amerikaanse formaat anders krijg je zulke onhandige
maten. De kaart wordt iets breder en minder hoog.
En een heel andere look / And a completely different look

I saw this Fun
Fold card from Alexandra Grape, I have adjusted the
measurements for the international A4 - in centimetres - and the American A4 in
inches. If you decide to make the card in inches and you work in international
A4, I suggest you cut your paper to the American size first, to avoid too
fiddly measurements. The card will be slightly wider and shorter.

Werkwijze
1. Snijd de
basiskaart en ril en vouw hem, loop de rillijn na met je vouwbeen. Snijd met de
grootse Framelit een gat in de kaart daar waar je het wilt hebben.
2. Snijd de
binnenkaart. Let op: als je de binnenkaart wilt bestempelen, is het verstandig
dit te doen voordat je hem rilt en/of vastplakt.
Ril op 5 cm,
keer de kaart om en ril op 10 cm, keer de kaart weer on en ril op 15 cm. Op
deze manier krijg je mooie vouwlijnen voor de berg- en dalvouwen die nodig
zijn. Vouw het papier en loop alle vouwlijnen na met het vouwbeen.
How to go about
making the card
1. Cut the base
card, score and fold it, burnish well with your bone folder. Cut a square where
you want it in the front of the card using the largest Framelit.
2. Cut the
inside card. Please note: if you wish to stamp on it, do so before scoring
and/or adhering it.
Score at
2", flip and score at 4", flip
again and score at 6". That's the way to get the neat mountain and valley
folds that you will need. Fold all score line and burnish them using the bone
folder.
3. Plak de
binnenkaart rechts in de basiskaart. De binnenkaart is wat kleiner gesneden
zodat hij goed in de kaart past. Plak hem daarom niet helemaal gelijk met de
randen.
3. Adhere the inside card on the right
in the base card. The
dimensions are slightly smaller for a neat fit, so don't adhere it flush with
the sides.
4. Vouw de
bovenste flap open Naar beneden en kijk goed waar je plak aanbrengt. Breng
de plak aan en vouw de kaart dicht.
4. Fold down the
top flap and have a good look where to apply glue. Apply
glue and close the card.
5. Snijd uit
het stukje papier van 7,5 cm x 7,5 cm met de grootste Framelit een vierkant.
Breng plak aan op de rechterhelft van het papier dat je achter het venster ziet
en plak het vierkant vast.
5. Cut a square
from the 2⅞" x 2⅞" piece using the largest Framelit. Apply glue to
the right half of the paper you see in the window and stick the square down.
6. Snijd uit
het stukje papier van 7 cm x 7 cm met de op één na grootste Framelit een
vierkant en plak dit op het grotere vierkant.
6. Cut a square
from the 2⅝" x 2⅝" piece using the second largest Framelit and adhere
it to the larger square.
7. Resultaat / Finished card
Met dit basismodel zijn alle versieringen mogelijk. Voor de verjaardagskaart heb ik me laten inspireren door de Spring Summer Catalogue, daar was ook een envelopje met confetti afgebeeld. Dat vond ik een leuk idee voor in mijn kaart, alleen ik moest wel een veel kleiner envelopje maken.
Hier is hoe ik het gemaakt heb. Neem een stukje perkamentpapier van 3½" x 3½". Ril het op 1½" en 3". Draai het papier 90° en ril op 1" en 3". Knip zoals in de foto en rond de hoekjes. Breng Tear & Tape aan en vouw dicht.
This basic model
lends itself to all kinds of decorations. I was inspired by the Spring Summer
Catalogue for the Happy Birthday card, there I saw an envelope with confetti. I
wanted that for my card, but I would need a much smaller envelope. Here's how I
made it. Take piece of vellum measuring 3½" x 3½".
Score at 1½" and 3". Turn 90° and
score at 1" and 3". Cut as in the photo and round the corners. Apply
& Tape and fold closed.
En natuurlijk
stuur ik zo'n kaart niet weg met een kale envelop! And of course I'm not sending such a card in a bare envelope!
