Voor het nieuwe jaar heb ik kaarten nodig. Het idee voor deze kaart is uit de Spring / Summer Catalogue - deze is vanaf 3 januari beschikbaar voor klanten. Eén van de voordelen van demonstrator zijn, is dat je de dingen eerder hebt.	I am in need of cards for the new year. The idea for this card is from the Spring / Summer Catalogue - it will be available for customers on 3 January next. One of the demonstrator perks is early access to things.

Plak de matten op de basiskaart en bouw verder op, te beginnen met het lint, plak daar de perkamentcirkel op enz.

Adhere mats to base card, then build up starting with the ribbon, stick the vellum circle on top and so on.

Christmas Traditions Punch Box ontmoet Simple Stamping

Stampin' Up! heeft ook deze geweldig leuke blikken met daarin alles wat je nodig hebt om op een heel eenvoudige manier kaartjes, labels enz. te maken. Je hebt helemaal niet veel benodigdheden nodig. Op de foto's kun je zien hoe mooi dat blik is (het gaat bij mijn verzameling kerstblikken dat is één ding wat zeker is!) en wat erin zit.	Stampin' Up! also carry these truly cute tins that contain everything you might need to make cards, labels etc. in an easy and simple way. There's no need to have all kinds of tools. In the pictures you can see how pretty this tin is (it is going to join my collection of Christmas tins that's for sure) and its contents.
Je hebt natuurlijk ook papier nodig, ik zou zeggen Whisper White, Call Me Clover en Real Red, dat zijn de kleuren van de inkt die in het blik zit. En natuurlijk een schaar en lijm. Ik heb je al eerder verteld dat we momenteel een challenge hebben om dingen te ontwerpen die geschikt zijn voor een beginner, met een minimum aan benodigdheden - ik vind dat deze blikken daar heel geschikt voor zijn. Trouwens, in de nieuwe lente- /zomercatalogus komt er toch een leuk blik aan. Ik mag je dat nog niet laten zien, maar ik zal dit zeker doen begin januari!	Of course you need some cardstock, I'd suggest Whisper White, Call Me Clover and Real Red as these are the ink colours in the tin. And, naturally some scissors and glue. I've told you before that at the moment we are having a challenge to design things that would be suitable for a beginner stamper, with a minimum of supplies - I think these tins are very suitable for this. By the way, in the new 2019 Spring/Summer Catalogue there's such a cute tin coming up. I can't show you yet, but I will in the beginning of January!
Kijk maar eens wat er allemaal kan. Je ziet dat ik de leuke stempels eigenlijk het werk laat doen, samen met de pons. Ik heb wel een paar dingetjes meer gebruikt. Het zijn geen dingen waardoor je bankroet zou raken, hoor. Gewoon wat bling in de vorm van wat Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Stampin' Dimensionals voor het hoogteverschil en een stukje 3,2 mm breed lint Solid Ribbon in Real Red.	Take look at all the possibilities. You can see that I've made the stamps do the work, together with the punch. I have added a couple of extra supplies. Nothing that would break the bank, mind. Just a bit of bling in the shape of some Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Stampin' Dimensionals for some added depth and a piece of ⅛" Solid Ribbon in Real Red.

Rood met Witte Stippen

Aan deze verpakking hangt een heel verhaal, ga er maar eens lekker voor zitten.	This packaging has quite a story to it, so make yourself comfortable.
Kerstmis is al heel lang echt een ding in mijn familie. De boom, de versieringen, de aanloop naar de feestdagen. Net als voor veel mensen is dit feest voor mij omgeven met tradities. Mijn broers, zusje en ik hadden vroeger allemaal een kerstversiering die we zelf hadden mogen uitkiezen in de winkel. Ieder jaar was het opnieuw feest als 'jouw' ding weer tevoorschijn kwam uit de dozen met kerstspullen wanneer we weer mochten meehelpen de kerstboom te zetten.	Christmas has been big in my family for a long time. The tree, the decorations, the run-up to the holidays. Just as for many people, this holiday is surrounded by traditions for me. When young my brothers, my sister and I all had our very own decoration that we had been allowed to choose in the shop. It was great fun every year when 'your' thing reappeared from the boxes with the decorations when we were once again helping to decorate the Christmas tree.
Mama vertelde in de kersttijd altijd verhalen over alle dingen die in onze boom hingen. Het kwam er meestal op neer dat een versiering zich alleen en verdrietig ergens bevond - dan kwam de kerstfee, die betoverde dat ding en zo kwam de ster, de kabouter, het lantaarntje -  en vul maar in - dan in onze kerstboom te hangen. Heerlijk!	During the holiday season mummy used to tell stories about all the things that were on our tree. It usually boiled down to a decoration being sad and lonely somewhere - then the Christmas Fairy would come along and enchant it and that was how the star, the elf, the lantern - you get the point - ended up in our tree. Good times!

Dit is 'mijn' engeltje. Het is meer dan 55 jaar oud. Mijn oudste broer had een rode kerstbal met witte stippen en die is helaas een paar jaar geleden stuk gevallen.	This is 'my' angel. It's over 55 years old. My eldest brother had a red and white polka dot bauble and sadly this fell to smithereens some years ago.
Ieder jaar is mijn moeder een beetje verdrietig als ze eraan denkt dat die bal kapot gevallen is. Ze zegt dan steeds: "Ik ben blij dat ik hem zelf heb laten sneuvelen, maar jammer is het wel."	Every year my mother is a little sad when she thinks about this particular bauble breaking. She will say: "I am glad I was the one to drop it, but it is such a shame."
Laat ik nu gisteren bij de HEMA toevallig zo'n rood-met-witte-stippen kerstbal gezien hebben. Ik heb hem meteen gekocht voor mijn moedertje.	Yesterday I happened to see such a red and white polka dot bauble in a shop. I bought it immediately for my sweet mother.
Ik heb deze verpakking speciaal voor deze bal ontworpen om hem in cadeau te geven. Ik denk wel dat ze er blij mee zal zijn.	I have specially designed this packaging for this bauble to give it to her in. I think she is going to like it.

2 stukken Shaded Spruce van 27,30 x 18,75 cm Ik heb het papier eerst bestempeld met Versamark voor een subtiele afdruk met het rendier uit Cookie Cutter Christmas.	2 pieces Shaded Spruce measuring 10¾" x 7⅜" I have first stamped on the paper with Versamark to get a subtle tone-on-tone look with the reindeer from Cookie Cutter Christmas.
-       leg wat de bovenkant moet worden links, ril met lange zijde boven op: 6,35 en 18,40 cm -       met de korte zijde boven rillen op: 8,90 en 17,80 cm -       leg nu wat de bovenkant moet worden rechts en ril op 25,40 cm tot aan de eerste rillijn	-       put what will be the top on the left, with the long side top score at: 2½" and 7¼" -       with the short side at the top score at 3½" and 7" -       now put what will be the top on the right and at 10" score down as far as the first score line
Snijd gaten met de op één na grootste van de Layering Circles framelits en de Big Shot.	Cut holes using the second largest of the Layering Circles framelits and the Big Shot.

Snijd een gat met de op twee na grootste van de Layering Circles framelits.	Cut a hole with the third largest of the Layering Circles framelits.
