Deze kaart is voor de Stampin' Insta Hop; ik laat je hier ook graag zien wat ik ontworpen heb.	This card is for the Stampin' Insta Hop; I gladly also show you here what I have designed.

Het thema van deze maand is "Favoriet uit de Minicatalogus". Het Collectiepakket Playing in the Rain is dat zeker voor mij.	This month's theme is "Favourite from the Mini Catalogue. The Playing in the Rain Suite definitely is that for me.
Ik had geen zin te maskeren, toch wilde ik de ene afbeelding bovenop de andere hebben MAAR ook een platte kaart! Dit werkt prima.	I did not feel like masking, yet I did want one image on top of the other BUT I wanted a flat card too! This works absolutely fine.

Ik heb gestempeld met Early Espresso en daar transparant Embosspoeder opgedaan en vervolgens verhit met de heat tool. Dat doe ik omdat het zo mooi glanst en het kleurt heel makkelijk met de Blends.	I stamped with Early Espresso and added clear emboss powder and then heated it with the heat tool. I do that because it shines so beautifully and it makes colouring with the Blends easy.

Deze keer een kaart gemaakt met de Kers Vormen-pons. Vind je de onderbreking in de voorkant niet leuk?	This time I have made a card with the Cherry Builder Punch. Don't you like the break in the front?

 

Ik heb de maten aangepast: de kaart is langer en minder hoog dan anders dat vond ik hier mooi. Hij past nog steeds in een standaard C6 envelop van Stampin' Up!	I have made the sizes different, the card is a bit longer and less high than usual, which I liked in this case. It still fits in a standard C6 Stampin' Up! envelope.
De envelop is versierd met de bijpassende stempelset. Een versierde envelop geeft je kaart iets bijzonders.	The envelope is decorated with the matching stamp set. A decorated envelope gives your card that extra little something.

 

 

De kersjes en blaadjes zijn bewerkt met inkt en vingersponsjes, zo krijgt het kaartkarton diepte. Voor de steeltjes heb ik eerst het kaartkarton op Zelfklevend Vel geplakt voordat ik ze geponst heb, dan zijn ze veel makkelijker op te plakken.

The cherries and leaves are decorated with ink and sponge daubers, which gives the cardstock depth. For the stems I first glued the card stock to Self-Adhesive Sheet before I punched them, then they are much easier to stick on.

Misschien wist je dit nog niet, maar naast papercrafting ben ik ook dol op haken. Vooral amigurumi-achtige dingentjes, die de schattigste geschenkjes zijn. En wat is er leuker dan mijn twee liefdes te combineren en leuke cadeauverpakkingen te maken voor mijn gehaakte projecten?	Perhaps you didn't know this, but apart from papercrafting I also love to crochet. Particularly amigurumi-type things, which make the cutest gifts. And what's greater than combining my two loves and make cute gift-packaging for my crocheted projects?

What I have for you today, however, is not meant to hold a gift. The box itself is a gift for a crocheter. It's for those pesky snipped ends of yarn. I always keep a box like this next to me as a stylish solution and put the ends in until I get rid of them.

 

 

De inspiratie voor de kleuren die ik gebruikt heb, komt van een restje Dozijn Dessins Designpapier. Het restje heb ik ook gebruikt voor de ring bovenop het doosje.

The inspiration for the colours I have used is from a scrap of Dandy Designs Designer Series Paper. I have also used the scrap for the ring on top of the box.

The bottom should not fall out of the lid, otherwise you will still have bits of yarn everywhere. This bottom is a tight fit, so do stick to the specified measurements. It will be necessary to work in sixteenths of inches, but I have made that easier for myself (and you) by calling a sixteenth inch 'plus'. So, 4-5/16" is 4¼"+ in Karin.
